Leonidas & His Queen In 300 Prequel?

Producer Bernie Goldmann recently spoke with movies.com about the upcoming 300 prequel, 300: Battle For Artemisia.  He spoke about weather Gerad Butler and Lena Heady, who played King Leonidas and Queen Gorgo respectively, would be in the film.    

When asked he said the following: “It’s a different story," he said. "[However] there’s a small part for Lena [Headey]. There’s a small part for Gerry [Butler].”

The film is based on Frank Miller's upcoming graphic novel prequel to 300, and is believed to take place 10 years or so before the first one, as Xerces rises to power.  We are all for more Lena Heady in the film, and we bet you are too!

Star Wars Saga Blu-Ray Deleted Scenes List

Vin Diesel Shares Riddick 3 Art

A month or so ago Vin Diesel shared some concept art from the forthcoming Riddick 3, on his Facebook page, and now he's at it again with this new image from the art department.  The movie hasn't officially been green lighted yet, so no word on when we will see Riddick 3.

Pearl Jam's 20th Anniversary: PJ 20 Concert Weekend

About a year ago TMIAJ began a series of reports and articles on Pearl Jam.  Why? Because we love Pearl Jam, one of the greatest American rock bands to ever play music, and the past year the band has been celebrating their 20th Anniversary, all accumulating with the Cameron Crowe documentary film Pearl Jam Twenty, in select theaters September 20th.
     This weekend the band is holding the Pearl Jam Destination Weekend, a series of concerts featuring multiple bands in Alpine Valley, Wisconsin to celebrate the bands 20th Anniversary.  The celebration continues in a few weeks with the film's soundtrack release and a book documenting the band.  Take a look below at the film's soundtrack listing, as well as a few videos of some noted live perfomances

The Walking Dead Season 2 Gets A 90 Minute Premiere

The Walking Dead returns October 16th and season 2 will of course be a full season of 12 episodes.  The bad news is, AMC has decided to split it into two parts.  Six episodes in October, then the final six  to begin airing in February.  It's not so bad really, it will just be a shorter wait until season 3, and with that AMC announced that the premiere will be 90 minutes long!
