The X-Men band together to find a mutant assassin who has made an attempt on the President's life, while the Mutant Academy is attacked by military forces.
Why It Made The List: Singer used ideas from the graphic novel God Loves, Man Kills, to craft the best X-Men film in the franchise. Everything from Wolverine going berserk in the mansion to the climatic battle and sacrifice of Jean Grey at the film's end, add up to an amazing comic book adaption.

Why It Made The List: Batman Begins is the Batman film we had been waiting our whole life for. It tells the origin with a "realistic" take on the mythology and director Christopher Nolan delivers a vision unlike any seen before. And to think the sequel would be even better.

Why It Made The List: Superman could arguably be the #1 film on any comic book movie list. In fact all of the Top 3 could be #1. 30 years later Superman still holds strong as an example of how to do a comic book film right, and on top of that, it's a damn good film!

Peter Parker is beset with troubles in his failing personal life as he battles a brilliant scientist named Doctor Otto Octavius, who becomes Doctor Octopus (aka Doc Ock), after an accident causes him to bond psychically with mechanical tentacles that do his bidding.
Why It Made The List: The train battle alone is one of the best in comic book movie history! A solid plot, fantastic action sequences, and when you watch, you feel like Spider-Man came off the comic books and onto the big screen! Amazing piece of film!

Batman, Gordon and Harvey Dent are forced to deal with the chaos unleashed by a terrorist mastermind known only as the Joker, as he drives each of them to their limits.
Why It Made The List: The Dark Knight is no doubt the single best comic book film to date. Some people believe it has it's flaws and perhaps it does, but it draws you in gives us the best Batman, and best comic book movie ever. Of course this may only be until The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters.
